These pictures are taken from an original postcard serial made by our great-grandfather following the construction of his house in 1913 with his camera harmonica. In the beginning of the last century these kind of photos were made with printed address lines and were very popular among amateur photographers.The Art Deco style of the house followed the building plan of this quarter of the city which had just become a construction area from a meadow a few years earlier. These pictures were sent to his fiancée who studied nursing in Fiume (today: Trieste).
