| Ein sehr angenehmes Haus mit sehr gastfreundlichen Inhabern! Die ruhige Lage und eine nahe, direkte Tram- und Busverbindung ins Stadtzentrum machen es als ideale Bleibe in Budapest. Une maison fort agréable et aux hôtes très accueillants ! La situation dans un quartier calme et des transports en commun tout proches en font un point de chute idéal à Budapest. |

| We took my mother and father in law to Hungary to celebrate 60th birthday. We found Abel Pension not far away from Budapest attractions. Connections by tram were fine and you were able to reach destinations by walking though quiet local streets and parks.
Rooms were very spacious which we appreciated as we had our three boys with us. Everything was also very clean. Breakfast was ok, not four star hotel level but more healthy one and good start for the day.
I could recommend place if you are looking for low price - good quality place to stay for couble of nights or longer in Budapest. Good choice. |

| We stayed at Abel Pension Budapest 15 to 19 March. We wanted a relaxing & romantic weekend, but didn't want to break the bank. This was reasonably priced and quiet, in fact just the job. The staff were helpful and there was a self-service bar (although we actually bought our drinks in after first nights as cheaper, but still a nice touch). Out from centre, but we enjoy being a little away from the main tourist bits. Easy to travel into the centre, tram & bus from the end of the road. A nice restaurant just down on the main road with a waiter with enough English to help us to chose interesting Hungarian food, but without tourist/fancy restaurant prices & mainly visited by Hungarians! A short walk, albeit uphill, from Gellert Hill & 27 bus to the top from close by if you preferred. One of highlights of our trip was a late evevning walk to the top and view of city by night! Recommended! |

| My wife and I stayed at the Abel Pension for seven nights in July 2005. It was an excellent budget choice. The panzio (pension) is located in a very nice, quiet residential neighborhood not far from the base of Gellert Hill on the Buda side. Public transportation is very convenient, about 10 minutes from central Pest. Also many small restaurants and shops nearby. The panzio is not fancy but well maintained and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The 60 Euros per night (cash) includes breakfast. |
